The CALendar Blanket Crochet Along has got off to a flying start! I can’t wait to see some more of your January rectangles finished. Talking of rectangles, a few of you have asked about the size of your rectangle, and the truth is that it doesn’t really matter what size it is, as long as all the other rectangles for the other months are the same size as this first one. I’m sure we all have very different tensions – and that’s what will make all our blankets unique at the end! I also hope you’ve all found your little pack of snowflake buttons and stitch marker. These were tucked into the belly bands of one of the balls of yarn so you might have to do a little rummaging to find yours!
The snowdrops that I’ve seen so far are amazing! They look identical to the ones in my garden at the moment. I love the way that some of you have made longer and shorter stems, and the way that everyone’s are slightly different to each others. Don’t forget there’s a few video links in the pattern; these will definitely help if you’re finding the snowdrops a little tricky.
The next pattern will be out on the 1st February!
